Xiaomi temporarily stops Mi 3 sales in India – the company announced that it has stopped selling Mi 3 in its second largest market. Now, Xiaomi is no longer taking any registration for Mi 3 after yesterday’s sale on Flipkart. Mi 3 stock was over in just 2.4 seconds, great news is that now they are concentrating on Redmi 1S and it will be soon available in market.
Well, it’s really stunning that Xiaomi suspended its top traded smartphone Mi 3 even if it’s a temp move. The Chinese company already sold 95,000 units of Mi 3 in India in six flash sales. Almost every time whenever the sales started all the models sold quickly within couple of seconds. This outlandish trick by Xiaomi helped them a lot not only by increasing demands for Mi 3 but it also disheartened their buyers as they couldn’t get the device even after trying many times.
Xiaomi India’s GM Manu Jain said in email to BGR India that “We are focusing on Redmi 1S for coming few weeks, we will take a call on Mi 3 post that. Please do stay tuned to our Facebook page for more information.”
Xiaomi also said that from Mi 3 experience they won’t be repeating the same mistakes as they did earlier. During the sale of Redmi 1S in India, they are adding more units available.
The Xiaomi Redmi 1s will go on sale from September 2 and for this 1st Sale 40,000 units are made available by Xiaomi. The company has already started taking pre-registration for the device at Flipkart if want to buy the Redmi 1S on the September 2 sale day. Talking about specification of Redmi 1S its features 4.7-inch HD 720p display, 1.6 GHz Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8-megapixel rear camera, 1.6-megapixel front facing camera, 8GB internal storage and so much features are there.
So, let’s cross our fingers and hope to get Mi 3 devices get back soon, and with that Redmi 1S is also be there.
